Alpinia galanga, a plant in the ginger family, is an herb used in cooking as well as medicine. Shilajit is a compact mass of bituminous substance ejected from crevices of rocks in the lower Himalayas, and Nepal, during hot weather. It consists of vegetable organic matter, composed of dark red, gummy matrix, interspersed with vegetable fibers and earthy matter. Shilajit is an effective for anemia and general debility. It causes uterine contractions and promotes expulsion of the fetus. In some cases, people consider ambergris an an aphrodisiac. Also, during the Middle Ages, Europeans used ambergris as a medication for headaches, colds, epilepsy, and other ailments.
Crocus sativus 20 mg
Crocus sativus is a famous medicinal herb with a long history of effective use, though it is little used at present because cheaper and more effective herbs are available. The flower styles and stigmas are the parts used, but since these are very small and fiddly to harvest they are very expensive and consequently often adulterated by lesser products. The styles and stigmas are anodyne, antispasmodic, aphrodisiac, appetizer, carminative, diaphoretic, emmenagogue, expectorant, sedative and stimulant. They are used as a diaphoretic for children, to treat chronic haemorrhages in the uterus of adults, to induce menstruation, treat period pains and calm indigestion and colic. A dental analgesic is obtained from the stigmas. The styles are harvested in the autumn when the plant is in flower and are dried for later use, they do not store well and should be used within 12 months. This remedy should be used with caution, large doses can be narcotic and quantities of 10g or more can cause an abortion.
Nutmeg 20 mg
Native to 2 of the 7 Banda Islands, part of the Moluccas group, (islands of Eastern Indonesia, once known as the Spice Islands.) Medium to large sized tree, up to 70ft tall. Nutmeg trees thrive in very warm, humid climates. They need year-round water, but don't like flooding. Its medicinal properties are aromatic, carminative, hallucinogenic, stimulant, expectorant, deobstruent, sialagogue, emmenagogue. Nutmeg is used to conceal the taste of various drugs and as a local stimulant to the gastro-intestinal tract. In small quantities, nutmeg acts on the stomach to improve appetite and digestion. Nutmeg oil is sometimes used to dispel flatulence. Nutmeg is commonly used for seasoning foods. It helps prevent gas and fermentation in the intestinal tract. It is good for nausea and vomiting.
Cloves 5 mg
Cloves are from a genus of 400-500 species of evergreen trees and shrubs. The generic name is derived from the Greek syzygios (paired), on account of the leaves and twigs that in several species grow at the same point. The specific epithet means aromatic. Clove oil is extracted by water distillation and mixes well with cinnamon, cedar, lavender, rose and bergamot. Essential oil content in good quality cloves may exceed 15%. Flower buds chewed to freshen breath or ease toothache pain. Also applied externally (essential oil) for toothache, headache, cold, arthritis and rheumatism. Two little-known compounds in clove oil have shown "strong activity" against bacteria associated with plaque formation and gum disease. The oil is also useful for ulcers, bruises, burns, bronchitis, asthma, minor infections and colic. Sometimes used to ease nausea.

Nux vomica is the dried, ripe seed of Strychnos nux-vomica L., a native tree of Burma, China, eastern India, Thailand, and northern Australia. Medicinally, Nux vomica is used for allergies, back pain, colds, constipation, digestive problems, emotional stress, flu, hangovers, headaches, hemorrhoids, and menstrual problems. Nux vomica is also a polycrest, or a homeopathic remedy used to treat many ailments. As a polycrest, Nux vomica's primary indication is for disorders related to abuse of narcotic drugs, alcohol, coffee, or tobacco, overindulgence of rich food and beverages, and mental strain from excessive work. Strychnos Nux-vomica is a tree of a moderate size, with numerous strong branches, covered with a smooth, dark gray bark. The young branches are long, flexuous, smooth, and dark green, with opposite, roundish-oval, petiolate, entire, smooth, and shining leaves. The flowers are small, white, funnel-shaped and in terminal corymbs. The fruit is a round berry, about as large as an orange, with a smooth, yellow or orange-colored, hard, fragile rind, and many seeds in a juicy pulp.
